AHWAZ: 1915 (Mar 31) Red printed envelope from the Field Post Office in Mesopatamia to India, with printed inscription denoting its use exclusively for « personal matters of an urgent nature, and that no mention is made of military operations », signed by the Intelligence Officer Capt. Alvrey at Division HQ, I.E.F. « D », with censor hs, reverse with F.P.O. 46 despatch cds which was in Ahwaz for only 2 1/2 months (from Mar 3rd to Jun 15th), arrival bs, very rare correspondence from this particular office during that time, ex Heath Vente aux enchères
