1904 Insured money letter for 2 roubles 20 kopecks sent from MUKDEN FIELD POST OFFICE to Moscow postmarked MUKDEN Subtype 3A 23 11 04 in blue with rectangular framed cachet in violet reading RESERVE FIELD POST OFFICE No. 11 with item number 4770 and « Mukden » inserted by hand.
On reverse two wax seals with Imperial Eagle and post-telegraph insignia reading: INSURED CORRESPONDENCE/No. 11 FIELD/POST OFFICE 1/PRIAMUR DISTRICT.
Absence of stamps implies official mail.
