OLYMPICS: The Tecardi Collection of the 1924 Paris Games, exhibition collection of the proofs, stamps, postal history and cancellations of the VIII Olympiad neatly mounted and written up on 101 album pages, showing a comprehensive study of the issued stamps with proofs, complete sheets of the issued stamps, a detailed mint & used study of plate varieties, including the Syria & Lebanon surcharge sets with blocks of four & inverted surcharges etc., plus postal stationery with a complete set of the Pasteur cards, also an extensive array of machine & duplex cancels some usages during the Games, a truly wonderful assembly and the work of over 30 years of collecting
