1914-1916 Exhibition collection on the mute (camouflage) cancellations (43) of Russia, all are on covers or cards, most of them from 1914, 20 of these covers are franked Romanov Issue, the others eagle issues, noted origin places Reval, Pernuv, Riga, Vindava, Vilna (or Bialystok ?), Warszawa, Plotsk, Osrov (or Kielce?), Smolensk, Kiev, Ladyshenka, Kamenka and Alushta (and/ or Simferopol?(2)),Kieltse, Muhu, Yuriev, Abiya, Fellin, Rappin, Volmar, Proskurov, Grodno, Shpola, Mironovka and 4 with unknown origin, nearly all are in very fine to suoerb quality (which is also quite unusual for these) – a rare and today nearly irrepeatable assembly as these are only very seldom offered
