1779 (Jan 13) Entire written by the French Commander at Roseau to France during the Anglo-French war, sent via the Netherlands with « D’HOLLANDE » hs, reverse with Division negative hs and wax seal, France recaptured Dominica in 1778 during their Naval assistance to the American rebels, fragile with some reparation, a rare historical item from the island at this time Vente aux enchères
