1937 Airmail CRASH COVER, posted to Paris from town in « Moyen Congo » and crashed at Oran (Algeria) on 28 January, with stamp sheet margin with h/s « Courrier aérien SABENA / accidenté / ORAN 28 Janvier 1937 » overlapping the cover, which has been drenched and another « label » soaked off, accompanied by provisional envelope of transmission with extensive blue crayon ms about the crash, struck with Paris cds (1 -2 / 37), both items despite their « roughness » are compelling and scarce if not unique Vente aux enchères
