1888 Envelope to the USA franked by 1878 President Morazan 1/2R black, 1R green and the rare 2R blue, all cancelled by circled star pmk, despatch cds TEGUCIGALPA MAR 6 1888, reverse bears Puerto Cortez transit (14 March), New Orleans transit (20 March) and RIEGELSVILLE/PA (23 March) arrival cds, small cover faults incl. 1R with damaged corner and 2R with two short perfs., sent by the « St.Lucia » Mining Company (an U.S. company lured to Honduras by the gold fever of the 1880’s), an exceptional franking as the 2R on cover is extremely rare, cert.
