1485-1851, Impressive collection of about 100 uncommon stampless covers unfolded for full display in two thick albums, with enormous 15th-18th century section with numerous Corsini family covers (lovely guild marks, re: politics and trade, etc.) and 16 early « via di Mare » including Italian coastal (as indicated by the endorsements). Later includes foreign destinations (some origins as well) incl. France, England, Portugal, Syros, Scotland and MALTA, with one to Alexandria, EGYPT (French P.O. bs, 1846) and one from Tunis to Genova disinfected at Livorno.
