It comprises 150 items arranged alphabetically by localities and mounted on exhibition pages, mainly including material originating from the Spanish colonial period, this being scarcer than the Republican period.<\/p>\n<p><span>The mail routes are indicated for the colonial items according to the five \u2018carreras\u2019 (routes), which included the Carrera a Cartagena, Carrera del Choco, Carrera de Quito, Carrera de Gir\u00f3n and Carrera del Rosario de C\u00facuta. Among the highlights, we want to mention the postmarks of Anserma (probably unique), a previously unrecorded example of Carondelet, Tequia (probably unique), extremely rare examples from Chaparral, Gigante, Guadalupe, Mercaderes, Tenerife and Micay, \u2019\u2019Yndias\u2019\u2019 on transatlantic mail struck in Colombia, etc, all applied during the colonial period.
