A receipt is prepared that gives a brief description of the collection and shows our preliminary valuation and the insured value, as well as the terms and condition, which is sent\/given to you as proof of receipt. From there it is assigned to one or more of our staff philatelists for lotting and describing and kept in our safes or secured rooms. Whilst describing and lotting, the philatelist affixes a barcode to each auction lot made from the collection, which links the item to your account, and is then passed to our scanning team.
