1859 (Dec 29) Envelope from Pusilawe to England with 1857-59 4d rose, just cut into at right and foot, and 6d on blued paper both tied by faint barred cancels, endorsed « via Marseille », despatch with ms date and London arrival, scissor cut-in below stamps, cover has been extensively repaired and the stamps lifted and treated to reduced staining (affecting the colour), an extremely rare franking and an exhibition showpiece, cert. BPA (2020).
