1871 (26.5) Folded cover from Cavala to Constantinople franked at double rate with 2nd Issue 1867 2 pi. blue tied by bold strike of V.R.POSTE EGIZIANE / CAVALA / 26 MAG 1871 circular datestamp, further superb strike at upper right of cover, backstamped on arrival V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE / CONSTANTINOPOLI / 28 MAG 1871 (partially excised), usual minor tone spots, a superb strike from this extremely rare town, plus mint Cavalla interpostal seal
