Lot 20521 – 1920 2 M on 15 Sk lila block of four with inverted overprint

1920 2M on 15Sk lilac block of four with inverted overprint on insured money letter dated 20.4.1921, several times forwarded and returned to Wilna on 17.5.1921, the block of four with some small faults as to be expected for this long journey. Nevertheless, inverted overprint blocks of four are very scarce, particularly in combination with a money letter usage, an important postal history showpiece and one of the highlights of Central Lithuania.
