1913 3k Romanov postal stationery card, datelined « D/S Trifon », sent to Norway and uprated with 1k arms tied by « 3rd MURMAN STEAMSHIP « a » 18 7 13″ oval ds, very fine
This card establishes use of 3rd Murmansk Steamship canceller on « Prepodobnyi (Saint) Trifon », a ship of 230 tons built in 1896 by Dobson & Co. at Newcastle, England, and belonging to the Archangel-Murman Steam Navigation Co.
