1870 (Jul 31) envelope from Montevideo to France with 1870 Bordeaux with Y&T no. 42B + no. 49 tied by dotted “anchor” cancellation and PD postmark on one, French Montevideo despatch and Paris arrival, one stamp with defects, a very rare use of Bordeaux stamps outside metropolitan France and probably a unique franking; signed J.F. Brun.
1870, affranchissement exclusivement composé de Bordeaux avec Y&T n°42B + n°49 sur lettre de Montévidéo (Uruguay), cachet à date du 31 juillet 1870 pour Paris, arrivée le 27 aout 1871. Les timbres présentent des défauts. Cachet PD sur un n°42B et tous les timbres sont oblitérés ancre. Rare utilisation des timbres de Bordeaux en dehors de la métropole. Signée J.F. Brun.
