Kadambas of Hangal, c. 1075-1090, AV gadyana, 4.22g. (22 mm). Obverse: Lord Hanuman seated facing to right, chowris and shankha on each side, Kannada legend ‘Nakara’ below. Reverse: Ornamental scroll work in concentric circles.
AU-UNC, fully struck and very dynamic appearance, very lustrous yellow gold surfaces.
