Description

1858 Waterlow lithographed 4 cents pale blue, second stone, margins ranging from clear to large, in an uncommon intense shade, tied to 14 June 1855 envelope to Mahaicony by superb strike of coded “A 3 C” datestamp of William’s Town, with Demerara transit backstamp dated the next day.

The finest of just five covers bearing this stamp according to our records.
