1870 (May 11) envelope from Seychelles to the USA with two Mauritius 1860-63 9d dull purple tied by “B64” barred ovals, one stamp with light “1/6” denoting the rate paid, with New York and “2” hs on arrival into US, redirected with New Bedford arrival bs, reverse with Seychelles despatch cds, very fine and very rare, one of only two such covers known; signed Bloch.
