2s6d chocolate, with perfect “R” in crown, mint vertical pair showing upper stamp from R9/2 with missing accent variety, fresh, very fine and scarce. Hibernian T72b; €485. Cert. MacDonnell..Note: This variety is a result of the Circumflex Accent of Row 9 Stamp 2 failing to print correctly. An embossed impression of the accent can be seen on the reverse.
