1873 (Oct 15) Ladies envelope to Wales, handstamped small frank (Type 1) boxed “FALKLAND/PAID./ISLANDS”, with “FALKLAND ISLANDS” cds alongside, rated ‘6’. Small closed tear at top. reverse with blue decorative border along flap edges, small part backflap missing and repaired tears, embossed flower motif on flap, rare usage
