1879 Folded letter in Greek from a firm in Odessa, datelined 26 May 1879, franked 1879 7k and put on a ship for Constantinople, where cancelled on arrival with slightly smudged mute rhomboid “retta” (Type 3) in black, backstamped Constantinople Type 8B in black (contrary to public opinion that cancels for Type 3 and 8 were always in blue).
