Bore, with stamp washed off and replaced by first type explanatory label “Tillhor / Angf. BORES / post.”, delivered to Norrkoping The “Bore” was the flagship of the Finnish Bore Steamship Co. She left Abo bound for Stockholm on 39th December 1899 but ran aground in fog off the Swedish coast the next day. Most mail was recovered between 10th and 22nd, some the following August, and the final mail bag was retrieved in April 1901 when the ship was raised and towed to Stockholm
