THE FINEST EXAMPLE RECORDED
1852 Waterlow 4 cents black on deep blue, exceptionally fresh unused with good to large margins for the most part, surface abrasion has been delicately painted in at upper left; (SG £25’000).
Only six unused examples of this rarity are known, and this is the finest, with all having imperfections. In this sale we offer the two finest known, which are affected by minor imperfections for this issue.
