HONG KONG, August 1, 2012 – Feldman Frey Philatelic Group (FFPG), today announced that it had concluded its search for new leadership of its Hong Kong subsidiary, David Feldman Asia. In a firm message of intent to remain and grow his Hong Kong business, David Feldman welcomed both Tommy Chau and Francis Ip to its team in replacement of the retiring Sam Chiu.

Tommy Chau, a young collector of Qing Dynasty and also contemporary PRC collections, is a qualified accountant who has worked in leading professional and financial services companies in Hong Kong.
Francis Ip, a collector of classic Chinese stamps for over 20 years, combines his philatelic experience with an extensive business career in operations management and marketing throughout Asia and China.

FFPG CEO Daniel Flesher was pleased to be able to reaffirm the company’s commitment to its Asian client base and the Hong Kong/China marketplace: “With the team of Tommy and Francis we have an ideal blend of youth and experience able to serve both the dynamic trading market for Chinese stamps and the traditional collector of Asian philately.”
The new Feldman team has targeted December 8, 2012 as the date of its next auction and has already made significant progress in attracting new consignors to the company.
