This is a specialized collection of the stamps and postal history of the Netherlands East Indies, from the pre-philatelic era to the birth of the first two issues in 1864 & 1868 respectively, including an important study of the “HALFROUND FRANCO” postmarks used from the 51 main Post Offices.
