Selling your stamp collection at auction is, in most cases, the best way to sell a collection, as you will receive the true market value of your collection. And through our expertise we can maximise your collection’s potential, because it’s in our interest to get you the most money for your collection.
This involves us carefully considering the way the collection is broken down, in order to make it as appealing as possible to other collectors; in the form of single lots, a combination of medium and large lots, rarities presented in our special Rarities auction, or the entire property offered intact (which often brings more than the potential sum of the parts!). The next task for us is to then accurately descibe the items, including their condition and estimating their value.
But of course all of this would be useless if we didn’t have the clientele, and we have over 10000 active customers from all over the world who receive our high quality colour catalogues, come to our offices, view our website and even bid online from anywhere in the world. We have a truly global market for your stamp collection. So you know you will get the best price possible
Lots which remain unsold can be re-offered in a later sale or bought from you at an agreed price. For lots that you have sold, payment is sent to you usually within 42 days of the end of the auction.
An advance can often be obtained by the vendor at the time of consignment.
So please contact us at one of our offices if this method of selling your collection interests you.
