N° Estimate ( € ) 20017 F 1858 (28.10) Post Ticket ( Post Blanket ): Decorative pre-printed form ordering to the post captains of the Siretului Route (Drumul Siretului) through Fokshani to Galatz and for the benefit of the Administration, to release two horses to his Excellency Consul Elinescu for travel from Jassy to Galatz. Green octagonal handstamp dated 1857 with Moldavian coat of arms and inscribed “VOGORIDI KAIMAKAM (*) OF THE PRINCIPALITY OF MOLDAVIA PRINCE NIKOLAI KONACHI”, plus Finance Department boxed cachet in black. On the reverse the document bears the names and the signatures and dates of all the post captains on the route - very fine, attractive and scarce (*) The “kaimakam” was a Lieutenant of the Prince, appointed by the Ottoman Porte, during the throne vacancy – in this case Vogoridi was acting as kaimakam for the unavailable prince Nikolai Konachi Note: Full translation of the document may be viewed on line. Translation: Post captains of the “Drumul Siretului” through Fokshani to Galatz, for the benefit of the Administration, shall release two horses to his Excellency Consul Elinescu for travel from Jassy to Galatz only, with the horse payment after the travel to be made by the Treasury, according to the contract and which may travel only three months from its date. 100 - 150 David Feldman Extended Payment Facility David Feldman SA ( DFSA ) may offer a special extended payment facility for buyers. In these cases, the buyer may choose to pay a minimum of 25% of the total invoice on receipt, and the balance over an extended period of 6 months , paying an equal installment at the end of each month. Interest plus charges of 1% are debited to the buyer’s account at the end of each month. When the Special Extended Facility has been granted, the buyer understands that every claim regarding his/her purchases must be made within 30 days of the auction sale date, even though the lots may be held by DFSA awaiting full settlement of the account. Until delivery, lots may be examined by their respective buyers at the offices of DFSA .
