Rarities of the World – 60 – SPECIALISED COLLECTION 40047 H G F 1852-68 A life-time specialised study collection of Papal States in 12 albums, with particular focus on shades, cancellations showing many different some in red and blue, minor plate varieties, practically all 1852 issues, mostly identified with detailed descrpitions including paper thickness, sterio types neatly written up on small cards, with between 300 and 700 examples of the values from 1/2baj to 8baj mostly in singles, but some useful unused and used multipels with pairs, strips and blocks, also over 20 examples of the 50baj value and over 20 values of the 1 Scudo value, some unused, many with certificates, also a balance section of later issues with some covers, forgeries and reprints for the student, also noted four 1867 Delpierre essays, an amazing assembly (1000’s) (Sassone €700’000+) Estimate: €15’000 - €20’000 Italian States – Sardinia
