They were printed by screened photogra- vure with the exception of the frame of E333 which was printed by unscreened photogravure. These essays were larger in size (104%) than the issued stamp and are on unwatermarked paper in a souvenir-sheet format. The tops of the souvenir sheets E332 and E333 were inscribed in French “SOUVENIR DU VISITE D’ÉTAT MR. LE PRÉSIDENT DU FRANCE”. The French inscription was misspelled and should have read: “SOUVENIR DE LA VISITE D’ÉTAT, MR.
