Commemoratives 1926, King Fouad’s Birthday Five essays were produced by Harrison & Sons depicting a three-quarter length photograph of the King in military regalia, each surrounded by a different elaborate floral frame, and mounted on separate cards. A letter exists, dated 20th January 1926, from the Minister of Finance to the Chief of the Royal Cabinet, submitting the essays for the King’s approval.
