This spectacular multiple illustrates perfectly some of the concerns regarding new printing plates produced for this issue, the plate wear is unusually more extreme on the new printing plate than the plate used to print over 73’000 impressions. Minor creasing and folds between impressions as to be expected on multiples of this size nevertheless a remarkable and unique showpiece (SG Spec.
